The last option available on the charm bar is the Settings option. The settings option has two halves, the upper half and the lower half. The upper half is dynamic and changes according to the app which is running. The lower half is static and remains the same in almost all the apps. The lower half contains options like network, volume, brightness, notifications, power and keyboard. And at the bottom you will see the change PC settings option. You can click on that to go to the settings app.

Display current time, date, network and battery

The only thing left in the charm is the time and date display at the right hand side. It displays the current time, date, network strength and battery life. It is very useful to those who are using windows 8 on tablets.
